Democrats.com - the Aggressive Progressives who have been leading the fight against George Bush and the Republicans since 2000.
Q. Why was MyDem.org created?
Because we watched George Bush and the Republicans steal the 2000 election in Florida and the 2004 election in Ohio.
Republican legislators and election officials across the country are doing everything they can to stop Democrats from voting - or to throw out our votes.
In order to fight back, we must empower Democratic voters with the tools to make sure we all can vote - and have our votes count.
Q. What kinds of tools is MyDem.org offering?
MyDem.org is modeled after MySpace.com and other popular "Web 2.0" websites, which give individual users control over their own personal information.
- "Google" your voter registration: search our National Voter File to see if you are registered to vote at your current address - and to make sure a Republican election official didn't purge you from the voter list or reject your registration application. MyDem.org is the first site ever to offer this service nationally.
